The Ariston NTCM108BSEX is an 8 kg freestanding air cooled condenser tumble dryer built for families who cannot hang washing outside in winter or in a humid coastal flat. It measures 59.5 cm wide, 86 cm high and 65.5 cm deep, needs no window duct and no water connection, and collects every drop of condensate in a wide pull out drawer across the front. Fifteen numbered programmes cover the whole household, from Eco Cotton, Mixed and Synthetics through Wool, Silk and Anti Allergy to Duvet, Bed And Bath, Baby, Jeans and Shirts, plus a 20 minute Refresh cycle that airs clothes that have been sitting in the wardrobe. Humidity sensors stop the drum at iron dry, cupboard dry or extra dry, while Crease Care, the Gentle option, timed drying from 30 to 180 minutes and a 1 to 9 hour delay give you full manual control when you want it. It is rated B on the EU energy label at 562 kWh a year and a quiet 67 dB, and the new compact condenser filter is far faster to rinse than the old design.
