Model 13423 is a single radiant ceramic ring under a black thermoglass top, rated 1500 W, with a rotary knob giving variable temperature control rather than an on and off switch, an indicator lamp and four anti-skid rubber feet that keep it steady during stirring. At 1500 W on 220 V it runs from any ordinary wall socket, and the glass wipes clean in seconds. This is a countertop hot plate, not a built-in hob, with no fixing clamps and no gasket, so it must never be cut into a worktop. There is no timer, no child lock and no residual heat symbol, and the ceramic glass stays hot for several minutes after the lamp goes out. Any pan works, aluminium, stainless, enamel or a brass coffee pot, but pots should be lifted rather than dragged.
