It sits on a 360° cordless base, so you can place it from any side. A thermostat with 2 safety sensors switches it off when the water boils. Boil-dry protection cuts the power if it runs without water. It also has an LED light, a water level indicator and a heat-insulated handle. The lid opens easily, and there is space to store the cord.
