IMPORT 2 RT VGA Display Cable, 1 Metre, HD15 Male to Male, Black, RT CABLE VGA

VGA has not gone away, and in Egypt it is still the connection that gets a screen working: nearly every CCTV recorder ships with a VGA output, most office monitors and projectors still have the blue HD15 socket, and countless point of sale terminals and industrial panels use nothing else. This one metre IMPORT 2 RT lead is the standard male-to-male cable for all of them. Inside, the red, green and blue video cores are each individually screened and then wrapped again in an overall foil and braid shield, which is what keeps an analogue picture sharp and free of the ghosting and colour smearing you get from unscreened cable. The full fifteen pins are wired, including the DDC and EDID data lines, so the computer reads the monitor's supported resolutions automatically instead of defaulting to a low fallback mode. Knurled thumbscrews at both ends lock the plugs into place, which matters on a DVR in a cabinet or a projector on a ceiling bracket where a loose cable means a lost picture. At one metre the cable comfortably carries 1920 by 1080 at 60 hertz. VGA carries video only, so plan a separate audio lead.
