This intercom set lets you answer the door and talk to visitors without leaving the apartment, and release the electric door lock from inside when fitted with one. The outdoor panel is built for the entrance environment while the indoor unit mounts on the wall inside the flat. Installation should be carried out by a technician using cable of the correct cross-section, since the working distance depends directly on wire gauge. Do not run intercom cable alongside mains power cable, as that causes hum and interference.
