KOCOM Intercom Power Supply, 15 V DC, 1.2 A, White, PS-M2

The KOCOM PS-M2 is the matching power supply for KOCOM's 15 V audio interphone and door phone range. Fed from ordinary 220–240 V mains, it delivers a regulated DC rail that KOCOM rates at 15 V on the unit label and 16.5 V off-load in the printed catalogue — the difference is normal for a linear supply, which sits slightly higher with no load and settles to 15 V once the handsets are drawing current. One PS-M2 will carry up to ten KIP-603 or KDP-603 stations, so a single unit usually covers a whole small building. It also serves KDP-205, KLP-1000, KLPC-420R and KLPD-410 installations. The linear transformer design keeps audio lines free of switching noise, which matters on long intercom runs where a cheap adapter will introduce audible buzz. Wiring lands on a screw terminal block and KOCOM's R53 and DCCORDF cords plug straight in. The white ABS wall box is fanless and mounts on the surface beside the riser or distributor. Fit it with the mains isolated and check the loop resistance of long cable runs before commissioning.
