A fan heater earns its place by being fast. Where an oil radiator takes twenty minutes to make a difference, Kumtel's turbo fan pushes 2000 W of warm air into the room straight away, which is why this is the heater for a bathroom before a shower or a bedroom you only use for an hour in the morning. The three-position selector is more useful than it sounds: position one is fan only with no heat, position two is 1000 W and position three is 2000 W — so the same unit blows cool air in summer and full heat in winter. An adjustable thermostat cycles it to hold the room, and it is rated for up to 24 m². Kumtel builds it in a flame-resistant plastic housing with a thermal safety cut-off, a thermal fuse and a tilt safety switch that cuts the power if it is knocked over.
