This laptop charger for HP is a 65 W power adapter with an 18.5 V, 3.5 A DC output. It uses the round 7.4 × 5.0 mm tip with a centre pin, found on older HP laptops such as the Pavilion dv4, dv5, dv6, dv7, G6 and G7 series and the ProBook 4430s. It works on 100-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz mains. Some older Compaq models use a thinner 4.8 × 1.7 mm tip, so check the charging port and the label of your original charger before you order.
