The LONG LIFE HELS 4B360 is a gas hob that simply stands on the worktop, connects to a cylinder by hose and starts cooking, with no cut-out, no fixing clips, no gasket and no electrical connection at all. On a 55 x 55 cm footprint you get four full-size burners in a 2 x 2 square, one large rapid, two medium and one small, on a stainless steel cooking surface with four removable enamelled pan supports, and the whole thing weighs about 4 kg. Two things must be said plainly. There is no thermocouple flame-failure cut-off on this hob, so the gas keeps flowing if a flame is blown out, and this code should be treated as the manual-light version unless the carton is marked otherwise. It is also set for LPG cylinder gas only. Built in Egypt by the military production Helwan Factory 360, spare parts are easy to find and the price is a fraction of any built-in hob.
