Made in Egypt by the National Authority for Military Production, the Long Life La Grange is a lot of cooker for the money, and this is the version with the thermal glass lid included rather than sold separately. Five chamber burners are laid out across the full 90 cm stainless steel top, one large one for a big pot with graded smaller burners around it, all under cast iron pan supports. Self-ignition works from the front knobs on the hob, oven and grill, and full safety with flame-failure protection is fitted on the burners and on the oven and grill, each with its own safety knob. Inside, a turbo convection fan pushes heat around the cavity so trays bake evenly, behind a double thermal glass door with an oven lamp. The gas grill burner in the roof has its own control and safety valve and runs a turnspit skewer for chicken.
