The stainless steel cooktop carries five XpressFlame 2.0 burners, a dual-layer flame design that spreads heat over a wider area than a single-crown burner, and heavy cast iron racks hold a big pot steady. Automatic ignition works from the knobs, and Flame Failure Protection covers both cooktop and oven, shutting the gas off if any flame goes out. The full-width gas oven has a flat cavity with hanging racks, a convection fan for even heat, and the XpressGrill infrared grill burner, which Midea rates at over 900 degrees of radiant heat over a large area, so browning and searing are faster than a normal gas grill.
