The Ocean ODT 454 D VB is the answer for an Egyptian kitchen that simply has no 60 cm gap. At 45 cm wide, 55 cm deep and 36.7 kg it slides into a narrow run and still takes 10 place settings across two baskets with a height adjustable upper rack, two foldable tine rows in the lower basket and a removable cutlery basket. Ocean publishes the full product fiche for it: A++ energy, drying class A, 0.732 kWh and 11 litres per Eco cycle, 211 kWh a year, 57 dB and a 198 minute Eco reference cycle. Control is deliberately simple — a rotary programme knob for the four cycles, a red LED countdown, a Start Pause key, a Half Load key and plus minus buttons that also set a 1 to 19 hour delay and toggle the child lock. The four programmes cover Quick 30, Super 50, Eco and a 65 degree Intensive that runs 114 minutes for burnt pots. A stainless steel tub, an antibacterial filter and a built in water softener handle hard Egyptian tap water. Radio Talaat supplies it in full black, which suits a dark modern kitchen.
