The Televes 747701 is a Universal Ku-band Quattro LNB for the standard Egyptian installation on the 7° West cluster, where Nilesat 201, Nilesat 301 and Eutelsat 7 West A sit together. It covers the full 10.70 to 12.75 GHz input range and converts it down to the 950 to 2150 MHz intermediate frequency the receiver expects. Feeds a multiswitch head-end, which then serves 8, 16, 24 or more receivers can be served. The die-cast RF chamber sits inside a UV-stabilised weatherproof shell with a sealed connector boot, so it holds up to Egyptian summer heat and winter rain on an exposed roof. Important: this is a Quattro, not a Quad. Its four ports are permanently assigned to one band and polarity each and it must feed a multiswitch — connect a receiver straight to one port and you will only find about a quarter of the channels. Check the port labels: a Quattro is marked VL, VH, HL and HH, while a Quad is marked 1, 2, 3 and 4. Use a good RG6 with a properly crimped F connector; most weak-signal complaints in Egypt come from the connector at the LNB, not from the LNB itself.
