The Unitex USCM20T is the best selling 20 watt model in the Unitex USCM column speaker range and carries an internal 100 volt line transformer for distributed public address systems. Several full range drivers are stacked vertically inside a slim black cabinet, forming a line array that concentrates energy horizontally towards the audience and away from ceilings and floors. The result is markedly better speech intelligibility in echoey spaces such as mosque prayer halls, school assembly rooms, hospital and hotel corridors, government offices, factories and commercial buildings. Installation is straightforward: mount the tilting bracket on the wall, run two core cable from the mixer amplifier, and connect the screw terminals at the chosen power tap. Place the columns behind microphone positions to avoid feedback, aim them slightly downwards, and keep the total tapped load inside the amplifier rating.
