The Unitex USCM40T is the high output model in the Unitex USCM column series, rated at 40 watts with an internal 100 volt line transformer. A tall vertical array of matched drivers produces a tightly controlled vertical pattern and wide horizontal spread, which lets a single column cover a long room without exciting the reverberation that ruins speech clarity in large mosques, conference halls, sports halls, factories, airports and multi storey shopping centres. The strong black cabinet with metal grille resists knocks in busy public spaces, and the tilting bracket lets you aim the array at the seated audience. Wiring is a straightforward loop of two core cable to the screw terminals of a 100 volt or 70 volt mixer amplifier. Mount the columns high, angle them down towards the listeners, and balance tapping so the amplifier is not overloaded.
