The PU-60XT is the line-voltage version of the Indian 60 W driver unit, and that built-in transformer is what makes it so convenient for installers. Because the matching transformer is already inside the housing, the unit taps straight onto a 100 V or 70 V distribution line running around a mosque compound, school, factory or village without a separate transformer box at each horn, which cuts installation time and removes a common point of failure in weather-exposed junctions. It handles 60 W continuously and reproduces roughly 160 Hz to 7 kHz, focused on speech clarity rather than music extension. The standard 1-3/8 inch by 18 TPI throat screws onto reflex horn flares from 15 to 21 inches, making it a straightforward replacement for an aged driver on an existing tower.
