Unitex Power Transformer, 100 V, Black and Copper, UNITEX-AMP-AUDIO-TRANS

This is the genuine Unitex audio output transformer used inside USSA and UTZA series public address mixer amplifiers. It is the component that converts the amplifier low-impedance output into the 100 V and 70 V constant-voltage lines that feed ceiling speakers, horn speakers and column speakers across a building. The laminated silicon-steel core and enamelled copper windings are wound for continuous duty at PA voice and music frequencies, so speech stays clear along long cable runs in mosques, schools, factories and shops. Technicians fit it when an amplifier has lost output on one tap, hums, or has been damaged by a shorted speaker line. It mounts on the existing chassis bolt pattern and reconnects through solder tags and screw terminals. Always isolate the mains and discharge the supply capacitors before replacing it, and re-check the speaker tapping afterwards.
