View Sound Ceiling Speaker, 100 V, White, VCK-601

The View Sound VCK-601 belongs to the VCK in-ceiling family and uses a six-inch full-range driver mounted behind a white metal grille. It is designed for 100 V constant-voltage line distribution, which is the standard method for public address work because dozens of speakers can share one pair of cables from a single mixer amplifier with almost no loss over long runs. The speaker drops into a circular cut-out in a gypsum or mineral-fibre false ceiling and is held by spring dog-leg clamps, so no extra frame is needed. Typical projects are offices, banks, clinics, hotel corridors, supermarkets, mosques, schools and shopping centres. Connection is through a rear screw terminal block; the unit is passive and takes all its power from the amplifier line.
