View Sound Column Speaker, 10 W, White, D-301

The View Sound D-301 is a 10 W column loudspeaker with drivers arranged vertically inside a slim wall-mount enclosure. This layout gives broad horizontal coverage while restricting vertical spread, so the sound is directed at listeners instead of bouncing off hard ceilings and floors. In reverberant rooms that means noticeably clearer speech than a conventional box speaker of the same rating, which is why columns are widely specified for mosque prayer halls, churches, conference and training rooms, waiting halls, corridors, lobbies and public buildings. The speaker runs from a 100 V line mixer amplifier over simple two-wire cable, so several units can be looped together on one amplifier. Fit it vertically on the wall above head height, tilt it slightly down, and space units evenly along the room.
