View Sound Column Speaker, 40 W, White, D-304

The View Sound D-304 is a 40 W column loudspeaker built as a vertical array of drivers inside a slim tall cabinet. This arrangement narrows the vertical coverage and widens the horizontal spread, so sound is aimed at the listeners instead of bouncing off ceilings and marble floors. That is why column speakers are the standard solution in mosques and prayer halls, and they work equally well in churches, lecture theatres, sports halls, factories, waiting halls, railway platforms and long corridors where echo normally destroys speech clarity. The speaker runs on a 100 V or 70 V constant voltage line so several columns can share one mixer amplifier over long cable runs, with low impedance wiring available on small systems. It mounts on a wall or pillar with the supplied bracket and can be tilted downward toward the audience.
