View Sound Column Speaker, 50 W, White, VCOL-450

The View Sound VCOL-450 is a wall-mounted slim vertical column array, with several full-range drivers stacked in line to narrow vertical dispersion and throw speech further down the room built for constant-voltage public address work. Rated at 50 W RMS (100 V Line — Model Series Rating) and finished in white, it is aimed at mosques, minarets, schools, factories, shops and reception areas, where announcements, Quran recitation and background music have to stay intelligible over long distances and high ambient noise. A built-in matching transformer lets many units run in parallel from one mixer amplifier over long runs of ordinary two-core speaker cable. The rear screw terminal block simplifies tap selection and daisy-chaining, and the supplied swivel wall bracket lets the column be tilted down onto the listening area. Fit it above head height and keep it away from reflective facing walls for the best intelligibility.
