The View Sound VK-960 is a 30 W re-entrant horn loudspeaker for outdoor and industrial public address. The higher power rating compared with a 20 W horn gives extra headroom and a longer usable throw, which matters on large sites where one horn must cover a whole yard or aisle. Typical installations include mosque exteriors and minaret arms, school playgrounds, factory floors, warehouses, loading bays, farms, petrol stations, car parks and market squares. The speaker connects to a 100 V or 70 V constant voltage line so dozens of units can share a single mixer amplifier over long cable runs, and low impedance wiring is also possible on small systems. The weather-resistant body and adjustable steel yoke allow secure wall, pole or gantry mounting with precise aiming.
