View Sound Pendant Speaker, White, VL-138

The View Sound VL-138 is a pendant cylinder loudspeaker for distributed 100 V line public address and background music systems. It hangs on an adjustable steel suspension cable, which makes it the natural answer wherever a flush ceiling speaker cannot be fitted: exposed concrete soffits, industrial ceilings, glass atriums, double-height lobbies and open-plan retail. Suspending the cylinder closer to head height also keeps volume consistent and speech intelligible in tall spaces where a ceiling-level speaker would sound distant. Typical sites include showrooms, restaurants, cafés, hotel lobbies, exhibition halls, airports, shopping centres and modern offices. It wires with simple two-wire cable on a 100 V line loop from a mixer amplifier, so many units share one amplifier. Space the units evenly and adjust the cable length to a uniform height.
