This is the genuine View Sound mains power transformer fitted inside the VCL-M100UD class public address mixer amplifier. It steps the 220–240 V AC supply down to the low-voltage rails that feed the power amplifier output stage, the microphone preamplifiers and the USB, SD and FM media board. The laminated silicon-steel core and varnished copper windings are wound for continuous duty, so the amplifier stays cool through long Friday prayers, full school days and factory shifts in mosques, schools, shops and halls. Technicians order this part when an amplifier is completely dead with an open primary winding, hums loudly, or has overheated after a mains surge or a shorted 100 V speaker line. It bolts onto the original chassis mounting holes and reconnects through the same solder tags and screw terminals. Always isolate the mains and discharge the filter capacitors before fitting it.
