View Sound Speaker Bracket, Silver, VCOL-WALL-BRACKET

This is the genuine View Sound mounting bracket supplied for VCOL series column speakers. It is a formed metal wall bracket with a clamp that grips the column cabinet and a hinge that lets the installer tilt the speaker down towards the listening area, which is what makes speech intelligible in tall spaces. Column speakers are mounted this way in mosques and prayer halls, school corridors, hospital lobbies, factory canteens, conference rooms, exhibition halls and long shop floors, where their narrow vertical dispersion pattern cuts down reflections and echo. The bracket bolts to a wall, column or pillar using suitable anchors chosen for the wall type, then the speaker is clamped and the angle locked. Always fix into solid masonry rather than plasterboard, and check the bolts once a year on high installations.
