The View Sound VS-3600W SB is a passive subwoofer driver rated by the manufacturer at 3600 W peak music power, built to carry the low-frequency end of a car audio or mobile sound system. A heavy magnet assembly, a long-throw voice coil and a stiff bass cone let it move enough air for solid kick and sustained low notes without breaking up at high drive levels. Because it is a passive unit with no amplifier or battery inside, it must be wired to a mono bass amplifier or a bridged amplifier channel through the positive and negative terminals on the rear, and it must be mounted in a properly sized sealed or ported enclosure to load correctly. It suits cars, minibuses, mobile DJ rigs, shops, wedding halls and home bass cabinets. Set the amplifier low-pass filter around the bass band and bolt the driver down firmly to stop panel rattle.
