View Sound Subwoofer Driver, Black, VS-SUB-5IN

The View Sound VS-SUB-5IN is a 5 inch (127 mm) passive bass speaker driver supplied as a bare unit for installers, workshops and sound technicians. It is used to build or repair ceiling speakers, wall speaker boxes, compact PA cabinets and background music enclosures in mosques, schools, shops, cafes, factories and offices. The cone and ferrite magnet assembly reproduce bass and lower midrange, adding warmth and body when paired with a tweeter inside a two-way enclosure. Connection is by solder tag terminals to a low impedance amplifier output, or through a 100 V line matching transformer where the installation requires constant voltage distribution. Fit the driver to a sealed baffle using the mounting holes, keep the cone clear of obstructions, observe polarity across the system and use it indoors only.
