The View Sound VCW-5015 is a wired surface wall speaker with a 5-inch full-range driver in a black cabinet. It accepts a 70 V to 100 V input from a mixer amplifier and is rated at 10 to 15 watts, a step up from the 10 W models when a room needs a little more level for music as well as announcements. The black finish works well in restaurants, cafes, lounges, gyms, showrooms and dark-ceiling retail fit-outs where a white box would stand out. Because it mounts on the wall, no ceiling cut-out is needed, which makes it a practical retrofit in finished buildings. Fix the rear bracket with two screws, land two wires on the terminals and the speaker joins the existing 100 V line.
