Fresh Electric Hot Plate, 1 Solid Hotplate, 1500 W, Stainless Steel Body with Thermostat (13490), EC01-1HP

The Fresh EC01-1HP is a single 1500 W solid hotplate: a cast iron disc with the element bonded underneath, set in a pressed stainless steel body on four anti-skid rubber feet. There is no glass anywhere to crack, which makes it suitable for a chalet or for heavy daily handling. The control is a real thermostat rather than a plain on/off switch, so it cycles the element to hold the selected setting and a gentle simmer is possible, with an indicator lamp that stays on while the element draws power. It runs on 220 V / 50 Hz, and at 1500 W any household socket takes it, so it works straight out of the box with no installation. This is a countertop appliance, not a built-in hob: there are no clips and no gasket, so the counter should not be cut for it. It takes any pan, and unlike ceramic a pot can be slid across the surface. The trade-offs are clear: it is slow to heat and slow to cool, it stays hot after the lamp goes off, there is no timer and no child lock, and the cast iron disc needs drying after washing to avoid rust. Fresh warranty with a service network across Egypt.
