This is the indestructible one. The Fresh EC01-1HP is a single 1500 W solid hotplate, a cast iron disc with the element bonded underneath, in a pressed stainless body on four anti-skid rubber feet. No glass anywhere to crack, which is why it survives a chalet trip and people who are not gentle with appliances. The control is a real thermostat, not a plain switch, so it cycles the element to hold your setting and a gentle simmer is genuinely possible, with an indicator lamp while it draws power. It runs on 220 V / 50 Hz, and at 1500 W any household socket takes it. Be clear that this is a countertop appliance, not a built-in hob: no clips, no gasket, so do not cut a counter for it. It takes any pan you own, and unlike ceramic you can slide a pot across it. The trade-offs are honest: slow to heat and cool, no timer, no child lock, and cast iron needs drying or it rusts.
