The stainless steel cooktop carries five Italian closed-chamber cup burners in graduated sizes, from a large fast burner for the halla down to a small simmer burner, all under cast iron pan supports, with one-hand automatic ignition on every burner and on the oven and grill. Full flame-failure safety covers all five burners plus the oven and the grill, cutting the gas the instant a flame dies. The Matrix Gold 500016940 runs two fans, a hot-air distribution fan inside the cavity for even baking and a separate cooling fan for the panel and electronics, and its 360 degree motorised gas grill browns evenly and takes a rotisserie skewer for chicken. Timing and oven functions are set on a digital touch screen while gold-finish knobs handle the burners, and the full glass door is hydraulic soft-close, so it eases shut instead of slamming.
