The Lux Plus measures 55 by 55 cm and stands 85 cm high, with four cup burners on a stainless steel cooktop, one larger and three smaller, on painted iron grids rather than cast iron supports. Automatic ignition works at the cooktop burners, and a thermal glass lid folds down over the hob to keep the burners clean. The compact gas oven takes the single tray and rack supplied with it and has a turbo fan inside for even baking, with a real gas grill burner in the roof running a turnspit and skewer for chicken, unusual at this price. The oven door is heat-resistant glass and control is by front knobs only, with no timer and no display on model 4563198465010. The published specification lists no flame-failure safety, so it is not the cooker for a household that insists on full safety.
