Maxel MX-55 dry iron with 1000 W power and a non-stick Teflon soleplate. The soleplate does not stick to cotton or synthetic fabrics. It is flat with no steam holes and presses evenly across the fabric. A rotary dial has 6 settings, from synthetics and silk to wool, cotton and linen. The iron has a thermostat, overheat protection and a 360° swivel cord. It does not have a water tank, steam, a water spray or auto shut-off. The iron is made in Egypt and comes in white.
