Buy the Sokany SK-07073 for exactly what it is and it is superb value. Two corrections first: it is not a built-in hob — it stands on the counter and plugs in — and it is not induction. Sokany's catalogue files it as a Radiant Cooker: 3500 W of far-infrared heat under a ceramic panel, more power on one ring than any built-in hob's biggest zone, with a digital display, touch keys and a rotary control giving 12 heat levels plus presets for frying, soup and barbecue. Because it is radiant, every pan works — even an ordinary aluminium tagen. Respect what that power means. At 3500 W it must go straight into a sound wall socket of its own, never an extension lead. There is no pan detection, so the panel keeps radiating when you lift the pot, and no timer, child lock or auto shut-off is documented. It weighs 2.5 kg, so keep it back from the counter edge and never build it in. Warranty is one year.
