The Tornado TEO-55DGK is the large 55 litre model in Tornado's countertop electric oven range, finished in black and built for a family that cooks a full tray at a time. Fifty-five litres swallows a big tray of pasta, a whole chicken or two trays of biscuits, and the oven combines an electric grill with a convection fan so the heat is pushed around the cavity instead of sitting at the top — food browns evenly and cooks through without constant turning. Control is by rotary knobs for the heating mode, the thermostat and the timer, so there is nothing to program. It runs from an ordinary 220–240 V, 50 Hz socket with no installation work at all, and comes with a wire rack and a baking tray. Tornado is an El Araby Group brand with service centres all over Egypt, so spare parts and maintenance are never a problem.
