Unitex Compression Driver Unit, 100 W, Black, LV100

The LV100 sits at the top of the Unitex Taiwanese driver unit range, rated at 100 W and built for the longest, loudest runs on a public address line. Its integral line-voltage matching transformer means it connects straight onto a 100 V or 70 V distribution loop alongside other speakers without an external transformer box, which simplifies wiring on minarets, factory masts and long village runs. The heavy magnet assembly and reinforced voice coil hold their sensitivity under continuous announcement duty, and the response from roughly 160 Hz to 7 kHz is concentrated where speech intelligibility lives. The standard 1-3/8 inch threaded throat fits reflex horn flares from 15 to 21 inches. Recommended for mosques, large factories, ports, stadiums, farms and civil-defence warning systems.
