View Sound Pendant Speaker, 20 W, White, VL-170

The View Sound VL-170 is a 20 W cylindrical pendant loudspeaker made for spaces where a flush ceiling speaker cannot be fitted. It hangs on a cable or chain from exposed slab ceilings, steel trusses, gypsum voids and double-height areas, firing downward to give a controlled circle of coverage under each unit. Showrooms, hotel lobbies, restaurants, cafes, shopping centres, exhibition halls, airports, factories and open plan offices are the usual applications, for both background music and voice paging. The speaker runs on a 100 V or 70 V constant voltage line so many pendants can share one mixer amplifier, and low impedance connection is also possible. Its smooth cylindrical shell looks tidy in an exposed ceiling, and the screw terminal block keeps wiring simple during installation.
