View Sound Pendant Speaker, 30 W, Black, VK-940

The View Sound VK-940 is a suspended cylinder loudspeaker rated at 30 W and wired for 100 V constant-voltage line distribution. Its drum-shaped metal body hangs from a steel cable or chain, which makes it the right answer for buildings with exposed concrete slabs, gypsum-free ceilings, atriums, double-height showrooms, workshops, restaurants, garages and covered courtyards where a flush in-ceiling speaker simply cannot be cut in. Sound is fired straight down from the driver, giving a controlled coverage circle directly under the unit, so the designer can space units evenly along a walkway or seating area. The 100 V line connection lets many units run on a single pair of cables from one mixer amplifier, and the screw terminals accept standard installation cable. Mains-free operation: all power comes from the amplifier.
